The Upright MRI™ at East Brunswick Open Upright MRI is the
world's only whole-body MRI with the ability to perform Postitional Imaging™ of patients. With Positional Imaging™ patients can be scanned in a multitude of positions including standing, sitting, flexion, extension, rotation, lateral, and recumbent positions. This means that positions that were once difficult, impossible, or unconventional are all now routine with the Upright MRI™. For the first time, patients can be scanned in a weight-bearing position allowing scans to be done in their position of symptoms or pain.

Upright MRI is a Mega-Open MRI™, making it the most
non-claustrophic whole body MRI scanner. Patients can walk in, have their scans done, and walk out. The magnet's specially designed front-open, top-open design provides patients with an unprecendented degree of comfort because there is nothing in front of your face or on top of your head. Patients can comfortably watch a flat panel TV screen in
front of them while having their scans done. East Brunswick Open Upright MRI is a Licensed State of New Jersey Medical Facility and is a Certified Licensed Medical Facility by the American College of Radiology.
